Healing Polarization On Climate Change: Considerations For Effective Vegan Advocacy
The Vegan Community is shaping a new paradigm of advocacy that transforms frustration into fulfillment through empathy, dialogue, and deeper understanding. This fulfillment arises from the convergence of diverse viewpoints and the willingness to remain perceptive amid disagreement.

Vegan advocates often find themselves at the crossroads of differing perspectives from respected thought leaders, making advocacy both complex and crucial. To bridge these differences, The Vegan Community hosted a transformative conversation titled “Healing Polarization on Climate Change: Considerations for Effective Vegan Advocacy.”

In this dialogue, Dr. Sailesh Rao and Dr. Will Tuttle, guided by facilitator Clare Mann, explores how differing views on climate change can coexist within a unified vision for a compassionate, vegan world.

The session helps advocates to stay curious rather than combative, to seek truth without hostility, and to view veganism as a systems transformation that heals both the planet and our collective spirit.

Despite differences in climate framing, both speakers emphasize ahimsa (nonviolence), inner authority, and practical vegan action, showing that unity in purpose is more powerful than division.
