Dr. T. Colin Campbell

The visionary who coined the term “whole food, plant based.” Although largely known for the China Study–one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted, Dr. Campbell’s profound impact also includes extensive involvement in
education, public policy, and laboratory research.

Neal Barnard MD,

Dr. Barnard, MD, is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a nonprofit with over 17,000 physicians committed to preventing and reversing chronic diseases through whole food plant-based nutrition.

Miyoko Schinner

Miyoko Schinner, a pioneer in artisan vegan cheese and founder of Miyoko’s Creamery, is an advocate for plant-based living and animal welfare. Renowned for her culinary innovation and passionate activism, she is currently the host of the YouTube cooking show, The Vegan Good Life with Miyoko.

Victoria Moran

Victoria Moran is the founder of Main Street Vegan Academy and a celebrated author of over 13 books on veganism and wellness. Featured twice on Oprah, she hosts the Main Street Vegan Podcast, directs the Compassion Consortium, and is co-writing the film Miss Liberty.

Michael Klaper MD

Karyn Calabrese, a celebrated wellness expert with over 50 years as a raw vegan, has inspired over 50,000 people with her holistic health programs. Featured twice on Oprah and other national shows, she’s a pioneering authority in plant-based living and holistic wellness, teaching globally and empowering others to embrace a vibrant, healthy lifestyle.

Angela Crawford PhD

Dr. Crawford is a licensed psychologist and transformational coach with 25 years of experience. She passionately advocates for the emotional, mental, and physical benefits of a vegan lifestyle and is a seasoned educator, empowering individuals to embrace WFPB living for improved well-being and a more compassionate world.

Akil Taher MD

From angioplasty at 56 to open-heart surgery at 61, and running his first half marathon less than a year later, Dr. Akil Taher’s journey from a sedentary lifestyle to a dynamic septuagenarian athlete is truly inspirational. A Gadsden-based physician and author of Open Heart, he advocates for a heart-healthy WFPB diet and continues to chase new athletic adventures.

Ruth Heidrich PhD

Dr. Ruth is a breast cancer survivor, a six-time Ironman Triathlon finisher, a winner of eight gold medals in the U.S. Senior Olympics, and the author of Lifelong Running and Senior Fitness. Now in her late 80s, she credits her success in defeating cancer and achieving incredible athletic feats to her decision to become vegan in her 40s.
