HD Just 1 Thing 4 Health [Brenda T. Bradley, PhD] Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention CHALLENGE TO BETTER HEALTH Series Hippocrates Docs is pleased to welcome Dr. Brenda T. Bradley, a certified integrative nutrition health coach, to do another J1T4H Challenge. Dr. Bradley has gone from being a US service member in the Air Force to being a Certified Nutrition Health Coach. The one common denominator has been a desire to serve others and make the world around her a better—healthier—place to live in. After struggling with her own health goals and learning about the body and what it needs to perform optimally, she made the switch to a plant-based diet. She credits this lifestyle and dietary change for helping her not only improve her weight, but improve her immunity, mood, and overall health. In 2016 Dr. Bradley developed “The 21-Day Vegan Challenge.” This challenge is a vegan-only program that has been designed for anyone desiring to make a lifestyle change, to improve their health, or to explore and experience the healthy benefits of a vegan (No Meat) diet. In her challenge video, Dr. Bradley shares what some studies found about preventing breast cancer by adding 1 serving daily of this food and enhancing it. She is passionate about sharing this information and helping more people to begin the journey to living their healthiest. She frequently reminds people to “always allow food to be your medicine and never your poison”. YOUR CHALLENGE: Add a fresh garden salad loaded with cruciferous vegetables to your daily intake of delicious foods and lower your cancer risk pre and post diagnosis.
