Linda Middlesworth is a passionate lifestyle instructor who has developed a comprehensive, low-fat, whole foods vegan mentoring program. Her mission is to help people regain their health and well being through nutrition education and compassionate living.

Experts

Dr. Donald Forrester​

Dr. Don Forrester is a retired Family Medicine physician with 45 years of clinical experience and a background in Chemical Engineering. After completing his medical training at Georgetown University and a residency in Sacramento, he dedicated three decades to The Permanente Medical Group.

In his “retirement,” Dr. Forrester has continued his commitment to patient care at the McDougall clinic and EarthSave’s Meals for Health programs, while also serving as Chief Medical Officer for SwitchHealthcare. An advocate for quality improvement and chronic disease prevention, he has delivered over 100 presentations to both professional and lay audiences.

Currently, Dr. Forrester volunteers with NutritionFacts.org and True North Health, focusing on educating the public about the prevention and reversal of chronic conditions and the impact of climate change on health. He also teaches classes on climate change and is actively involved with Extinction Rebellion.

Dr. Andy Klonecke

Dr. Andy Klonecke

Dr. Andrew Klonecke, MD, has been a physician for 49 years. Over his career, he has worked in the US Air Force, Emergency Medicine, and Nuclear Medicine, but his most impactful work has been in Lifestyle Medicine, focusing on preventing and reversing life-threatening diseases like heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity, and various cancers.

Together with his wife, Katherine, Dr. Klonecke co-authored the book “Bypass: A Journey to Better Health. The book details how their lifestyle transformations improved their health and well-being, reversing several chronic diseases. It combines medical insights into the nutritional changes that promote health with practical, health-boosting recipes, reflecting their shared commitment to better living.

Dr. James Bennie

Dr. James Bennie

Dr. James (Jim) Bennie is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.

In 2022, he left Family Medicine, disillusioned with what he saw as the overreach and corruption in the Medical Care System, particularly during the COVID era. Dr. Bennie now focuses on evaluating patients for sleep abnormalities, primarily Obstructive Sleep Apnea, a role he has been dedicated to for over two years.

Dr. Michael Greger

Dr. Michael Greger is a founding member and Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and an internationally recognized speaker on nutrition. He runs the science-based nonprofit NutritionFacts.org, which offers a free online portal with over 2,000 videos and articles on various health topics.

A sought-after lecturer, Dr. Greger has presented at the Conference on World Affairs and the World Bank, testified before Congress, and served as an expert witness in Oprah Winfrey’s defense during the “meat defamation” trial. He is also a graduate of Cornell University School of Agriculture and Tufts University School of Medicine, and an acclaimed author of several New York Times Best Sellers, including How Not to Die and How Not to Diet.
